I have been using PHP for web development pretty much everyday now for the past 5 years. This after spending 3 years solidly doing offline Java development. I felt it was finally time to learn something new.
Now the general election is done and dusted with Thirsk and Malton haven finally declared we can take a look and see how the Internet played its part in the outcome.
Today I finished working on grb.im – a URL shortening service. The motivation behind building this site was to use a document-orientated database in a real world app.
GeoTweet5.com, a site I have been playing around with showing tweets in your local vicinity has just gone live. It utilises the HTML5 Geo location functionality.
